Join the Nurse Workforce at DMC
Are you a nurse looking to advance your skills in multiple clinical units? If so, consider joining Davis Medical Center's Nurse Workforce. This program offers short-term nursing assignments in multiple units with competitive pay and the opportunity for long-term employment. A commitment of 5 shifts per 4-week schedule is required.
Assignment Availability:
Medical Surgical/Telemetry, Inpatient Geri-Behavioral Unit, ICU, OB and
Emergency Department

Base rate of $72.00

Requires at least 6 months experience and ACLS/ PALS certification for Med/Surg, ICU & E.D.

Requires at least 6 months experience, WV CARES clearance & CPI or Handle with Care training for Geri-Psych.

Requires at least 6 months experience and NRP Certification for OB unit

Must schedule 5 shifts (equivalent of 60 hours) per 4-week schedule

Shifts available Thursday 7pm - Monday 7pm (day shift and night shift)

One required shift must be a weekend shift

One day of clinical orientation on the unit with preceptor
What is the Process?

Within three days of receiving your application, a phone interview will be set up with the DMC Nursing Staff.

If approved, Human Resources will process your application and schedule a 1-day orientation (lasting 10-12 hours) to complete the system-wide orientation process.
